Ms. Margolies is a licensed and registered Financial Professional,and a former practicing attorney.  She is a financial consultant for legal and medical professionals, professional corporations as well as nonprofit organizations.  Ms. Margolies practiced family law for nearly 20 years before becoming a financial consultant.  She also served as Executive Director of a nonrpofit legal services organization for 10 years.   She now devotes much of her time to the efforts of the Society for Financial Awareness, a nationwide nonprofit educational speaker's bureau, whose mission is to raise morale and provide financial education at the workplace in local communities, thus empowering individuals to take control over their financial futures (www.sofaUSA.org).

With the resources now available to her at AXA Advisors, LLC,  AXA Network, LLC and Karr Barth Associates, Inc., Ms. Margolies is able to provide comprehensive financial planning, investment advisory services, employee benefit plans and risk management products for individuals and organizations with the same integrity and due diligence that she devoted to her own nonprofiit organization for many years.  Karr Barth Associates is the local agency of AXA Advisors, formed by George Karr and Bob Barth in 1967-- now equipped with five satellite offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and one of the largest and most successful agencies of AXA Advisors in the United States--the firm has over 350 associates.  The  firm is proud to offer an open architecture including a wide variety of money managers and insurance carriers through their financial professionals.

Ms. Margolies is a frequent writer and speaker about financial planning issues, and, although she does not provide legal advice or services in her capacity as an AXA Advisors or Karr Barth Financial Professional,  her legal background provides her with a unique perspective.  Ms. Margolies enjoys the teaching and coaching aspect of her work and she periodically teaches workshops regarding various financial planning issues.  She still remains active with charitable organizations and causes of interest to her, such as the environment and sustainable energy, homelessness and housing, the advancement of financial education of the public, as well as children and adoption issues.

Ms. Margolies lives in Lansdale Pennsylvania with her two daughters and enjoys outdoor activities, photography, hiking, horsebackriding, gardening and living surrounded by cornfields, tree farms and the local animal life.  She volunteers for several committees within her local school district including the Environmental Committee for Worcester Elementary.
